So if a dev/publisher want their game bundled but they don't wanna give Steam keys but Epic games key, it's Devs/Publishers fault not Epic! The same thing applies with Ubisoft which only distribuite Uplay keys of their games on various store and bundles (see this Monthly with AC: Origins).ĭon't blame HumbleBundle or Epic if you see non-steam keys in the bundle. Bundles are always made with the agreement of the devs and publishers. To make an example it's like Humble asking Steam to bundle games. What does this mean? Simple, if HB wanna bundle games they won't ask Epic for games to bundle but they will contact the publishers and developers of the said games.
A lot of people are already taking their pitchforks because they don't wanna Epic bundles on HB but they don't realize that Epic is a digital distribution platform like Steam. The deal allows HumbleBundle to sell Epic exclusives (Metro Exodus, Borderlands 3, etc). This for now only applies to HumbleStore.
